The 3rd Silk Road Film Festival, which hosts various films including short movies, features, animation, documentary and student films, will host 9 Iranian movies in Dublin, Ireland.
Marjan Riahi’s documentary Iranian Ninjas and Awakened For Three Days, directed by Masoud Amini, will represent Iran at the competition section of the festival.
Two Pieces of A Reality by Neda Asef, Sormeh directed by Azadeh Ghouchan, Snow by Mehdi Rahmani, Simorgh by Meghdad Asadi Lari, One-Nil directed by Saman Hosseinpour, Angels Come Together by Hamed Mohammadi and Ehsan Abdipour’s Pop are also among other Iranian films picked for this year’s Silk Road festival.
Between March 18-22, the Silk Road Film Festival will offer for the third time across the city of Dublin an exclusive array of Asian, Arab, Persian, Middle Eastern, African, Mediterranean and European cinema.
The festival is founded to forge connections between cultures, facilitate international contact between filmmakers and incite fruitful collaborations at the intersection of cinema, arts and business.
